Incarnation

Brass Quintet

This piece for brass quintet was written beginning in January 2014. The first movement, "Chronos", was written for a contest put on by the Nautilus Brass Quintet through Vox Novus, titled "Fifteen Minutes of Fame", which called for works that were one minute or less. "Chronos" was one of fifteen winners selected and was performed by the Nautilus Brass in New York on June 29th, 2014. Six additional movements soon followed, each also about a minute long, forming a complete suite of one-minute character pieces, each movement depicting a character from Greek mythology.
