The Columbia River, which runs along the border between Washington and Oregon, is a beautiful and awe-inspiring landmark. The Columbia River basin comprises some 260,000 square miles, and it is the fourth largest river in North America. This lighthearted piece for concert band captures both the fun, energetic spirit of the outdoors and the majestic grandeur of the Columbia River Gorge.
